Why is KYC Needed on Solcex?
KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is a mandatory regulatory requirement for virtually all centralized cryptocurrency exchanges. On Solcex, completing KYC verification serves several critical purposes:
Regulatory Compliance: It ensures Solcex complies with international Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) laws, maintaining the platform's legal and operational integrity.
Security and Fraud Prevention: KYC helps prevent fraudulent activities, identity theft, and the misuse of the platform for illegal financial transfers, thereby protecting the entire user base.
Enhanced Account Limits: Successfully completing verification significantly removes or raises your Account Limits, specifically for:
Crypto Deposit Limit
Crypto Withdrawal Limit
P2P Transaction Limit

Access to Full Features: Verification may be required to access certain advanced trading features, launchpad participation, or fiat on/off-ramp services.
Step-by-Step Solcex ID Verification (KYC)
The following steps are based on the user interface screens provided in your image, guiding you through the standard verification process:
Initiate Verification and Check Limits
Navigate to the Verification Section: Log in to your Solcex account and go to the "Identity Verification" section (as shown on the left sidebar).
Review Account Status: Note your current Account Limits. The interface clearly indicates that a Standard personal identification is needed to remove limits such as the Crypto Deposit and Withdrawal Limits.
Start the Process: Click the "Verify" button to begin the KYC application.
Enter Your Personal Details
Provide Identity Information: You will be redirected to the "ID Verification" page.
Select your Country.
Select the Official ID Type you will use (e.g., Passport, Driver's License, and other legal documents).
Enter your First Name and Last Name exactly as they appear on your selected ID document.
Enter the ID No. (Document Number).
Confirm Accuracy: Read the note: "The information must be verified, please provide your real name and ID number."
Proceed: Click the "Next" button.
Upload Your Document
Upload Document Cover/Front: Upload a clear, high-resolution image of the Document Cover.
Upload Personal Information Page/Back: Upload a clear image of the Personal Information Page.
Adhere to Guidelines: Carefully read the guidelines on the right side of the screen (e.g., “Please place all four corners of the Document on the table...”). Ensure the entire document is visible, text is legible, and there is no glare or blurring.
Submit Liveness/Proof Photo
Provide Verified ID with Personal Signature: you are required to hold the FRONT of your ID/passport/driving license together with a handwritten paper. The handwritten paper must include: 1) your full name, 2) submission date, 3) our web domain name and 4) a statement to declare your personal responsibility; "All behaviors on this website is performed by myself and I am aware of the relevant risks, and is willing to take all legal consequences.”
Review and Finalize: Once all required documents and the proof photo are uploaded, check that all fields are complete and all images are clear.
Submit: Click the "Submit" button to finalize your KYC application.
Next Steps After Submission
Solcex will review your submission. This process usually takes anywhere from a few hours to a few business days. You will be notified via email or within the platform once your verification is Approved.
